Sept. 23rd 1-7pm Clark Park 43rd & Chester ave. in University City The first annual Philly Flava Fest invites men, women, and children of all ages to enjoy a unique celebration of hip-hop with live music performances, educational workshops, and exciting exhibitions. Produced by The Philly Gathering and Goodie Goodie Productions, the Flava Fest is organized in the spirit of The Gathering, Philadelphia's most respected and longest-running monthly hip-hop event, established in 1997. There will be a free day festival held at Clark Park, located in the heart of University City - Philadelphia, followed by an after party at the Raven Lounge.
