What if nine year old twins ran an army?

Inspired by actual events, Burmese Black Tongue is the story of Johnny and Luther- mystical nine year old twins whose ragtag army of Karen youth becomes the symbol of resistance against the oppressive Burmese military.  Johnny and Luther are hunted by nefarious Burmese generals and their indoctrinated child soldiers as they weave through life changing encounters with war-torn elders, opportunist puppeteers, and Burmese Spirit Mediums. Myth proves a more powerful weapon than might in this struggle for freedom, cultural continuity, and recaptured youth.
