Giovanni LaRosa
Giovanni La Rosa graduated from Ursinus College in 1997 with a BA in Politics and International Relations. While attending Ursinus, Giovanni founded Goodie Goodie Productions- an independent entertainment company that produces concerts, film, theater, and the arts. As co-owner/creative director of GGP Giovanni has promoted and produced thirteen years of high profile concerts in the Philadelphia region at renowned venues such as the Tweeter Center, Electric Factory, and Festival Pier. GGP also provides creative services, marketing, & media solutions to its corporate partners and clients.
Recently in television and film, Giovanni worked in various departments for the 2010 comedy The Best and the Brightest starring Neil Patrick Harris, Amy Sedaris, and Bonnie Somerville. Giovanni was also the Associate Producer of Teach- the Tony Danza docu-series for A & E Network (2010).
Giovanni is the author of the screenplay Burmese Black Tongue (In Development). Inspired by actual events, Burmese Black Tongue is the story of Johnny and Luther- mystical nine year old twins whose ragtag army of Karen youth becomes the symbol of resistance against the oppressive Burmese military.
