Richard Power Hoffmann

Since graduating from New York University in 1996, Richard Power Hoffmann returned to his native Philadelphia and began creating a variety of personal and work-for-hire projects through his company, Coyopa Productions.

The script for his feature film debut, Invisible Mountains, was awarded a 2002 screenwriting fellowship from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. The completed film, which went on the win Best Feature at the 2003 DV Film Festival and a 2005 PCA media arts fellowship, is now available on www.netflix.com. Rich has served as an active board member (and current President) of the Philadelphia Independent Film and Video Association for the past five years.

Rich lives in Media, PA with his wife, Holly, their two children, Casper and Sylvia, and their large dog Leo. He enjoys fine dark chocolate, good beer, walks with his family, meditating with crystal bowls, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
