Horror Double Feature at 941 Theater with the Living Dead Girlz
LIVE!
Philadelphia Premiere of ‘Slumber
Party Slaughterhouse' & 'Isle of the Damned'
Saturday, October
25th - The
941 Theater (941
N. Front St, Phila PA 19123) is proud
to present a premiere Horror Double Feature as part of the World Zombie Day
festivities in Philadelphia! The screening is $12
with Free Beer and will feature a LIVE preview performance by the Living
Dead Girlz (Zombie Dance Troupe from San Francisco) between
films before their big NYC show on Oct
26th!
Before the screening, zombies are
invited to join the No. Libs Zombie Pub
Crawl starting at 5pm for FREE! From 5pm - 6pm civilians will meetup at the
941 Theater to become undead and zombies will gather. At 6pm, the Zombies will head to
2nd Street for a Pub Crawl through the heart of Northern Liberties,
attacking the alcohol supplies of several bars before heading back for the
double feature at 8pm.
At 8pm, the interactive horror experience
‘Slumber Party Slaughterhouse' will
premiere, a hybrid film-screening/live-event that mixes horror movie trivia with
Rocky Horror-style 'Audience Participation' as well as a drinking game to get
through the movie.
At 10pm,
the Living Dead Girlz will perform a preview dance number with their hit viral
video song ‘Brains' followed by the Philly Premiere of Director Antonello
Giallo's Italian cannibal classic, ‘Isle
of the Damned', which will open with an exclusive interview with Antonello's
son, Luigi Giallo and a special message from renowned anthropologist, Dr.
Livingstine.
In compliance with FCC regulations, a nurse will be on staff
at this public performance of Isle of the Damned in the event of any medical
emergencies brought on by the psychological torment that this film has inflicted
on previous viewers. This film contains REAL footage of bizarre primitive
rituals, savage atrocities, and cannibalistic acts of depravity. The restoration
team of this film STRONGLY urges that those with heart conditions, expectant
mothers, and impressionable youth NOT BE ADMITTED to the theatre.

About the
Films:
SLUMBER PARTY SLAUGHTERHOUSE:
THE INTERACTIVE MOVIE
Audiences get the chance to put
their horror movie trivia skills to the test while also helping a recently
deceased high school geek take revenge on his former friends. The story follows
Paul Tard, a geek killed on the eve of his high school graduation by his
friends' greed. Paul's friends are throwing a graduation party with hookers and
drugs. After dying Paul sells his soul to a demon in exchange for the power to
take revenge on his former friends.
Structurally, SLUMBER PARTY
SLAUGHTERHOUSE: THE GAME is a trivia challenge. Whenever Paul wants to kill one
of his friends, the demon asks a horror movie trivia question and the film
dissolves to a multiple choice menu. If the audience chooses the correct answer,
Paul gets the power to kill his ex-friend (and the friend's hooker, to tie up
those pesky loose ends); but the wrong answer will send Paul to hell unavenged.
Each "killscene" in the film is written and directed by a different Halo-8
filmmaker and stars actors from Halo-8 films.
This innovative feature
stars Tiffany Shepis ("NIGHTMARE MAN"), Melissa Bacelar ("PINK EYE," Lionsgate's
upcoming "SKINNED ALIVE"), Katie Nisa ("THREAT"), and Joanna Angel (TLC's "L.A.
INK," "SICK & TWISTED HORROR"), Masuimi Max ("INLAND EMPIRE," "THE DEVIL'S
MUSE") as well as several of the girls of BurningAngel.com in a narrative,
splatterpunk DVD-game with scenes written and directed by numerous filmmakers on
the Halo-8 roster including Matt Pizzolo (THREAT), Joanna Angel, Doug Sakmann
("PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST"), Joshua Nelson ("PINK EYE"), Ramzi Abed ("THE DEVIL'S
MUSE"), Kurly Tlapoyawa ("GIMME SKELTER"), and Peter Hoare ("BEER THE MOVIE")
and more!

ISLE OF THE
DAMNED - Directed by Antonello Giallo
The notorious Cannibal movie is finally
released in North America!
In Antonello Giallo's follow
up to the notorious Pleasures of the Damned, private investigator Jack Steele is
hired by a mysterious treasure hunter to help find the lost treasure of Marco
Polo. Along for the trip is Jack's adopted son, Billy. Their search brings them
to an island off the coast of Argentina... and into the clutches of
a primitive cannibal tribe, the Yamma Yamma.
Isle
of the Damned, originally released in Italy in 1980, brought Giallo under
fire yet again by the Italian government, who were outraged by the shocking and
real scenes of primitive tribal rituals and cannibalism portrayed in the film.
The film has been long out of print, but is presented here in a digitally
remastered form.
